2009 (WPG) – Brown was once again a rock on the Bomber defensive line in 2009. Despite constantly being double-teamed, Brown recorded 52 acetaminophen w codeine six quarterback sacks and one fumble recovery in 16 games (Brown missed week one and two due to illness). He earned division all-star honours for the sixth time, and was the Bombers nominee for Most Outstanding Defensive Player and Most Outstanding Canadian.

2008 (WPG) –Brown was an anchor on the Blue Bombers defence for all 18 regular season games and the East semi-final. Brown finished the season seventh on the team with 43 defensive tackles, second on the team with 6 sacks, and added two pass knockdowns, one forced fumble, and one fumble recovery. His accolades earned him his fifth selection as a division and league all-star and he was named the East division Defensive Player of the Year.

2007 (WPG) – Brown was a one of Codeine during pregnancy : Codeine during pregnancy : Codeine during pregnancy : the key cogs in one of the CFL’s most dominating defences. Brown was a one-man wrecking crew in the 2007 Grey Cup, his second CFL championship game as a Bomber. He recorded a team-high nine defensive tackles in a 23-19 loss to the Saskatchewan Roughriders. Brown’s solid play earned him several individual accolades. He was the Bombers’ nominee for the Rogers outstanding Canadian player award for the second straight year and the fifth time in his CFL career. Likewise, he was the runner-up as the top Canuck in the CFL for the second consecutive year. Brown was also honoured as an East division and CFL all-star team selection.

Starting all 18 regular season games for the Blue & Gold, he registered 51 defensive tackles, three quarterback sacks, one special teams tackle and 55 hits. His 51 tackles ranked fifth on the team while his three QB sacks ranked Soma with codeine : fourth. Brown was equally solid in the team’s East semi-final loss to the Toronto Argonauts. He had four defensive tackles and applied constant pressure on Argo QBs Damon Allen and Michael soma with codeine Brown’s strong performance didn’t go unnoticed. He was the co-winner of the CJOB defensive player of the game for his effort in the Bombers’ week 13 loss to the Saskatchewan Roughriders at Taylor Field. 2005 (WPG) – Brown dressed for 13 of the Blue Bombers’ 18 games, missing five games due to a foot injury. 2004 (WPG) – Brown was the football club’s 2004 most outstanding Canadian and most outstanding defensive player of the year. Brown was named CJOB’s defensive player of the game four times in ‘03: week 4 (Winnipeg vs. Saskatchewan, July 10, 2003), week 11 (37th Labour Day Classic, Winnipeg @ Saskatchewan, Aug. 31, 2003), week 13 (Winnipeg @ Calgary, Sept. 14, 2003) and week 18 (Winnipeg vs. Edmonton, Oct. 25, 2003). The highlight of his season was a powerful effort in Washington’s season finale against the Miami Dolphins, in which he had a tackle for a loss and a fumble recovery…(1998) Brown enjoyed a breakout year in 1998 as a member of the Redskins. He had a single-game high that season of eight defensive tackles against their conference rivals, Philadelphia Eagles. He appeared in a total of 10 games for the Redskins that season…(1997) Brown went straight to the NFL following his college career. He signed with the Buffalo Bills as a rookie free agent in ‘97 and spent the entire season on their practice squad.

COLLEGE –Brown was a college standout as a member of the Simon Fraser University Clansmen. In his senior year of 1996, he totaled 55 defensive tackles and 8.5 quarterback sacks to earn NAIA All-American honors. His defensive dominance also led to his selection as the College Football Association’s defensive player of the year. Brown recorded 36 defensive tackles and eight quarterback sacks as a junior. He was a First-team All-Conference all-star in both his junior and senior seasons. At SFU, Brown played with future CFLers Keith Hiscox, Petar Pejovic and Doug Petersen.
