Stegall Only 17 Yards Shy Of Record

September 11, 2008

Stegall, a 14-year veteran who has played his entire CFL career in Winnipeg, is just 17 yards shy of the league’s all-time pass receiving record, currently held by Allen Pitts (14,891). Pitts set the mark in 176 career games. Stegall, meanwhile, has played 174 contests in his career.

A year ago, Prescription for alprazolam : the 38-year-old captured the imagination of football fans when he became the CFL’s all-time touchdown leader. It was yet another milestone in a career in which Stegall has re-written the league’s history books. He also is atop the categories of most touchdown receptions in a career (141) and season
(23 in 2002). Named one of the CFL’s top 50 players of the modern era by TSN (#15), the league’s most outstanding player in 2002 holds three other franchise
records: most yards receiving for a career, most yards in a season (1,896 in
2002) and most 1,000-plus yard receiving seasons. In 2006, Stegall and one-time Blue Bombers quarterback Khari Jones were named as the top passing tandem in CFL history.

Friday night's game, the first of Prescription for alprazolam : two Retro Week games between the two teams this season, is also a key divisional match-up. Toronto currently sits in second place in the East, four points ahead of Winnipeg.

Both teams will wear special 1950s throwback jerseys Friday night and again on October 10 at Canad Inns Stadium Prescription for alprazolam : in Winnipeg.
