The Lions maintained their league-best 10-3-1 record, while the Bombers dropped to 8-5-1, but will remain in top spot in the East.

The Bombers were able to win the battle of the league’s top rushers though, as Winnipeg running back Charles Roberts ran for 104 yards on 19 carries, to best B.C.’s Joe Smith, who had 45 yards on 18 carries. Smith still leads Roberts for the year, though, with 1,241 rushing yards - 88 more then Roberts.

Quarterback Kevin Glenn was 21-of-33 for 285 yards with two touchdown passes and one interception.
