Bombers come up short in 95th Grey Cup

James Johnson intercepted Bomber quarterback Ryan Dinwiddie three times, running one back for a touchdown, on his way to Grey Cup MVP honours.

Only 3:30 into the fourth quarter, Joseph found Andy Fantuz for a 29-yard touchdown reception. Fantuz broke several tackles, just lunging into the endzone to score what would prove to be the winning touchdown. It made the score 23-14.
 
When Winnipeg got Prescription for ultram, the ball back, they failed to advance and were forced to punt. Westwood pinned Saskatchewan deep and Saskatchewan wound up giving up at safety to make the score 23-16.
 
After trading punts, Winnipeg got to Saskatchewan’s 35-yard line and Westwood was able to hit a 42-yard field goal to narrow the gap. That prescription for ultram the score 23-19 with 3:47 remaining.
