Big Blue add punter to training camp roster

“Pat Fleming is an experienced and accomplished CFL kicker,” Bombers G.M. Brendan Taman said. “We expect him to add some valuable experience to our special teams units and to provide some competition for the other kickers we have in camp.”

Fleming (6-2, 190, Ultram drug test, Bowling State ’02, DOB: June 30, 1978 in Ottawa, Ont.) appeared in 18 regular season games for the Hamilton Tiger-Cats in 2006. He punted the ball 130 times for 5,625 yards and eight singles. His 43.3-yard average ranked fourth in the CFL last season. His ultram drug test punting average of 37.0 yards also ranked fourth in the league in ’06.

Fleming broke into the CFL in 2003 with the Ottawa Renegades when he booted the ball 85 times for 3,558 yards and a 41.9-yard average. In buy ultram he punted the ball 135 times for 5,359 yards and a buy ultram average. In 2005, he had 97 punts for 4,025 yards and a Ultram drug test, 41.5-yard average.

An Ottawa native, Fleming Ultram drug test, was a second round pick (11th overall) of the Renegades in the 2002 CFL Canadian Draft.

Fleming had an outstanding collegiate career as a member of the Bowling Green State Falcons. In 44 career games with the Falcons, Fleming averaged 39.9 yards on 218 punts and was a semi-finalist for the Ray Guy Award as a senior.
